Books Being Made into TV Shows 2022

I’m a big fan of TV shows! I probably spend way too much of my time sitting on the sofa watching the little screen. As such, when I hear a favourite book of mine is being adapted for the little screen I get very excited. Here are just some of the books being made into TV shows in 2022.

Conversations With Friends by Sally Rooney

Following the success of Normal People on BBC, it’s no wonder that TV producers jumped at the chance to adapt Sally’s first book. I preferred Conversation with Friends to Normal People when I read it. So I’m looking forward to this TV series in 2022.

Heartstopper by Alice Oseman

Fans of the Hearstopper graphic novel series unite, the TV series is coming! Coming to Netflix likely in the latter half of 2022, this series will have eight half-hour episodes telling the early story of Nick and Charlie as they begin to fall in love.

The Viscount and Me by Julia Quinn

Even though it’s the second series of BridgertonI still wanted to include Bridgerton on the list. The second series will be adapting the story of Anthony Bridgerton and his quest for a non-romantic bride. I’m sure they’ll be plenty of other surprises in store when the series airs in early 2022.

Daisy Jones and The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

And finally, a fan favourite book is coming to the small screen. I adored Daisy Jones and The Six when I listened to the audiobook. I’m very eager to see the characters come to life in this TV adaptation. The cast includes Sam Claflin, Riley Keough, and Suki Waterhouse, among other up-and-coming names. The show will be coming to Amazon Prime at an as-yet-undisclosed date, but likely the end of 2022.

What book to TV screen adaptation are you most looking forward to in 2022? Let me know in the comments below.
